So I’m here at Northtown Mall in Spokane, Washington. I’m about to go see Big Loud & Live 18. And after all these years, I still get excited about seeing and hearing drum corps.

My favorites this year are SCV & Carolina Crown. Close to them are Cavies and Mandarins. And not least in my group of favorite shows this year is Boston Crusaders.

I look forward to this not just as a fan, but as a writer. I’m 60 (yes, I said it), but I hope to never stop learning and growing.
